The Protagonist is a character chosen from the many guests at Larry's birthday party. Their gender, race, and sexuality is entirely determined by the player and causes slight differences during certain interactions. In the beginning of the game, the character and their partner bring a gift to toast. (Joel) "I don't care if you've gotta get some greasy business men to eat sushi off your body.
